Hello Trunk

Hello Trunk

After a brief hiatus from the world of advertising, in which I spent my time relaxing, visiting Amsterdam (not so relaxing) and publishing the 2nd OMB Book, I am delighted to announce I will be joining Trunk as Creative Director.

I am very fortunate to have received some great offers from London, New York and Dubai since leaving MAGNAFI. However, I'm going to be staying right here in Manchester. Next door to my old work, in fact.

So why move to Trunk? An agency less than a year old...

Ambition. That's why.

Trunk matches my creative vision. They want to challenge the status quo. And I like that.

It's a company that's growing at a rapid rate already with their most recent campaign for Paddy Power being seen across the world. To be working with clients of that magnitude already is testament to the talented team that's being assembled and I am excited to work with them to achieve great things.

I will be working alongside Adam Britton, someone who I've known since I was 2 when we were doing potato paintings at nursery. Hopefully our creative output will be of a little higher quality these days though.

Having collaborated with Adam and Trunk during my previous role on numerous projects that were not only creative, but effective and engaging, I know that this is a place where we can make great things happen. And happen quickly.

We will be working on creative campaigns that deliver engaging experiences, working across film, animation, gaming, apps and social media.

With some of my previous campaigns combining these elements together, for the likes of Betfred, Vimto, Very.co.uk and Nestle, I feel I will be able to bring this experience to the table and help the Trunk team grow and achieve our ambitions of becoming famous for doing great work.
Having worked collaboratively with some of the Trunk team to help the NHS Choir beat Justin Bieber to Christmas Number 1, I believe we can achieve whatever we want to.

Here we have the opportunity to shape our own future and that inspires me to take on this great challenge. During my break, I took the time to consider what I wanted to do in the industry and I realised that I wanted to create engaging, sharable, fun work that people care about.

And this is the place to do that. Who knows what we can achieve if we put our mind to it?
